A contemporary two-bedroom lodge with a hot tub set beside fully enclosed decking, three and a half miles from St Andrews at Stewarts Resort. Sleeping four, with a king-size bed and en-suite in the main bedroom — the most comfortable sleeping arrangement in our two-bedroom lodges. Dogs are welcome, the deck is secure, and guests have free use of the resort's health spa, gym, sauna and steam room.
Inside
An open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area finished with quality fixtures and contemporary decor, with doors opening onto the decking. There's an electric fire for cooler evenings, a television and Wi-Fi throughout.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, with a fridge, freezer, hob, oven, microwave, toaster and kettle.

A king-size bed is unusual in a lodge this size — most sleep four on a standard double — and combined with the en-suite it makes this a better choice than most for a couple who want the space, or for two couples where one wants the larger room.
Bed linen and towels are provided. Please bring your own towels for the hot tub.
Outside
Fully enclosed decking with garden furniture and a hot tub set alongside it. The enclosure gives you privacy from your neighbours and somewhere secure for a dog to be off the lead or for children to be outside without constant watching.
Private parking for two cars at the lodge, with additional parking next to the main building if you need it. EV charging points available on the resort.
Where you are
Stewarts Resort sits in landscaped grounds and woodland, with a designated footpath down to Cameron Reservoir — wildlife, fishing and boating, and a walk you can do in slippers if that's the sort of morning it is.
This is a good base for a holiday where you don't do very much. The resort has enough on it that a whole day without the car is no hardship, the spa is free to guests, and there's a hot tub outside the door. When you do want to go somewhere, most of the East Neuk is inside half an hour: Crail for the harbour and the lobster hut, Anstruther for fish and chips eaten on the wall, Elie for the beach, Pittenweem for the boats coming in. One outing a day is plenty.
St Andrews is a five-minute drive or an hourly bus from the front of the resort, with the Old Course and the links, the cathedral and castle ruins, the university quarter and two miles of beach at West Sands. Edinburgh is around an hour and a half by car or train if you want a change of pace.
Good to know
Check-in from 4 pm, check-out by 10 am. Up to two small dogs are welcome, with a supplement. The lodge is non-smoking inside; smoking is permitted outside, and we ask that you dispose of cigarette ends responsibly. Parking is for two cars at the lodge; any additional vehicles can use the parking next to the main building. Please charge electric vehicles at the resort's commercial charging point rather than using the lodge's own supply. Glass tumblers and bottles aren't allowed in the hot tub, so please use plastic. There is a strict no-noise policy after 10 pm, so please be considerate of your neighbours. A damages deposit is pre-authorised before arrival and released 72 hours after departure, provided no damage has been caused.
