A contemporary two-bedroom lodge with a sunken hot tub on fully enclosed decking and uninterrupted views across open countryside, three and a half miles from St Andrews at Stewarts Resort. It's the only one of our lodges that gives you both a secure, enclosed deck and a clear outlook — private without being closed in. Dogs are welcome, and guests have free use of the resort's health spa, gym, sauna and steam room.
Inside
An open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area finished with quality fixtures and contemporary decor, with doors opening straight onto the decking. There's an electric fire for cooler evenings, a television and Wi-Fi throughout.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, with a fridge, freezer, hob, oven, microwave, toaster and kettle.

Worth knowing before you book: this lodge has one bathroom rather than an en-suite plus a family bathroom, so four guests share a single shower room. It suits a family or a couple wanting a well-finished, straightforward lodge; if separate bathrooms matter to you, several of our other lodges have an en-suite as well and we're happy to point you to the right one.
Bed linen and towels are provided for the bedrooms. The sofa bed is not made up as standard — if you'd like to use it, please either add the linen supplement when booking or bring your own bedding. Do let us know at the time of booking so we can have it prepared before you arrive. Please bring your own towels for the hot tub.
Outside
A fully enclosed deck with garden furniture and a hot tub sunk into the decking. The enclosure gives you somewhere safe for a dog to be off the lead and for children to be outside without constant watching, while the outlook beyond stays open — you get privacy from your neighbours without losing the view.
Private parking for two cars at the lodge, with additional parking next to the main building if you need it. EV charging points available on the resort.
Where you are
Cameron Reservoir sits just beyond the resort, reached on a designated footpath. It's the quiet highlight of staying here: a circuit for a morning walk, brown trout fishing from the boats in season, and enough birdlife that it's worth carrying binoculars — geese in numbers over the winter, ospreys fishing through the summer months. Beyond it, the 170 acres of grounds and woodland give you more to explore than most resorts of this size.
St Andrews is a five-minute drive, or an hourly bus from the front of the resort — the Old Course and the links, the cathedral and castle ruins, the university quarter and two miles of beach at West Sands. Further along the coast the East Neuk villages of Crail, Anstruther, Pittenweem and Elie sit within half an hour of each other, and Edinburgh is around an hour and a half by car or train.
Good to know
Check-in from 4 pm, check-out by 10 am. Up to two small dogs are welcome, with a supplement. The lodge is non-smoking inside; smoking is permitted outside, and we ask that you dispose of cigarette ends responsibly. Parking is for two cars at the lodge; any additional vehicles can use the parking next to the main building. Please charge electric vehicles at the resort's commercial charging point rather than using the lodge's own supply. Glass tumblers and bottles aren't allowed in the hot tub, so please use plastic. There is a strict no-noise policy after 10 pm, so please be considerate of your neighbours. A damages deposit is pre-authorised before arrival and released 72 hours after departure, provided no damage has been caused.
